This Malbec grows in the southwest of San Rafael in Mendoza, an oasis surrounded by large canyons and crossed by two rivers—the Diamante and Atuel. At first a bit shy, it opens wide with red fruits, black raspberry, and tones of fresh leather. It is chewy and sumptuous on the palate, with firm tannins and a very well balanced acidity.
