Andrea ferments hand-picked fruit from the family’s own vineyards and refines this wine without the use of wood, aged on the natural yeasts which yield added richness. The result is almost shockingly fresh, complex and satisfying, one of the top wines of the Marche. It has green tones; peach, apple and lemon fruit; mineral notes; it’s salty with an almond-like back-taste. And, if you happen to forget about it for two or three years in some dark corner of your cellar, it will be even better than now.
