This sparkling red wine is dry with aromas of violets and blackberries. The palate is medium- full bodied with light to medium tannins and a baking spice, blueberry licorice finish.
Pair with: cured meats, roasts and game. Its full body and balance can also hold their own when combined with more challenging dishes like braised and grilled meats.
Bertolani is a fourth generation-owned family winery that was established in 1925 by Alfredo Bertolani in Scandiano. Bertolani's grapes come from the hillsides and foothills in the south of the Reggiano Emilia province.
